3.退休制度與其實施情形:

  1. 制訂「員工退休規定」,適用勞工退休金條例(新制)之同仁,自民國九十四年七月一日起,依員工每月薪資百分之六提撥至勞工保險局之個人退休金專戶。
  2. 選擇適用勞動基準法退休金規定(舊制)之同仁,按月提撥退休準備金存入台灣銀行勞工退休準備金專戶。
  3. 於每年五月及十一月依照員工前三個月平均薪資,調整勞健保投保額及新制退休金之提繳級距。

員工權益維護措施

勞資間之協議與各項員工權益維護措施情形:

  1. 本公司依法令規定於九十五年十二月成立勞資會議,九十六年二月二日呈報台中市政府同意備查,並每季召開勞資會議,討論員工反應的權益問題。因每三年於勞資會議代表任期屆滿時,辦理勞方代表改選及資方代表之指派,以持續促進勞資溝通,加強勞資合作。
  2. 持續關注勞動相關法令修訂狀況,以配合調整公司管理辦法,維護勞工權益。
  3. 設有員工申訴管道,如有影響員工權益事項,由稽核室提報檢討修正。
  4. 實施員工分紅制度,全體同仁共享經營成果。

履行社會責任

工作環境與員工人身安全的保護措施情形:

  1. 本公司訂有職業災害防止計畫,成立職業安全衛生委員會與各工地之工程安衛協議組織,定期開會檢討,並由相關部門負責執行。
  2. 辦理職業安全衛生教育及宣導活動,以提昇安全職場觀念。
  3. 每年實施勞工健康檢查及員工旅遊,維護同仁身心健全。
  4. 提供所有工程人員安全防護器具,如:安全帽、安全鞋、反光背心、安全帶等。
  5. 執行各類營建設備之自動檢查、作業環境測定、職災調查分析管理,以維護安全。
  6. 確保相關機械設備操作人員具備訓練合格證照(例如起重機均確認具備一機三證照始得作業),危險性機械設備通過相關安全檢查,以達機械操作安全。
  7. 配置氣體偵測器與抽排氣設備,於局限空間作業前實施氧氣與有害氣體濃度測定,並維持作業場所良好通風。
  8. 依營造安全衛生設施標準,視工地狀況設置工地各項安全防護設施,如上下設備、防護欄杆、各種阻隔設施、感電防止裝置、安全母索、防墜網、警示燈等。
  9. 所有外包廠商納入職業安全衛生協議組織管理,對所有進場施工人員進行危害因素告知,每日實施工具箱會議等。
  10. 辦公大樓定期消防設備檢修申報,乘客電梯與汽車用昇降機、機械停車設備每月實施保養,以維護辦公處所公共安全。
  11. 本公司已於106年取得TOSHMS證書,並執行下列各項作業:
    (a)
    將安全衛生納入企業永續發展策略,建置包括安全衛生政策、組織、制度規劃與實施、評估及改善措施等要項之安全衛生管理系統。
    (b)
    對各項安全工作透過規劃(Plan)、實施(Do)、查核(Check)及改進(Action)過程,實現安全衛生管理目標,並藉由持續不斷的體檢與發現問題,及時採取糾正措施。
    (c)
    運用風險管理之觀念,建構與整合安全衛生自主管理制度。

1.What are the majority engineering projects of Te Chang Construction?

Our business may be roughly classified into public project and tender invitation by private enterprise, such as public buildings, hospital and school construction, hi-tech factory, civil engineering etc. In 2000, Te Chen Shen Engineering Co., Ltd. was founded to incorporate wastewater treatment into the original building and civil engineering businesses. In 2009, Yue Hsin Asset Management Co., Ltd. was established to handle asset management, real estate investment and other businesses.

2.People in the same trade say that Te Chang demands a very high standard and long working hours; do your employees get overtime pay?

Speed is the competitive edge for a company to gain the advantage over its competitors: meeting demands in a speedy manner and maintaining long-term partnership with the proprietors. A company armed with such competitive edge can best attain such goals through organizational efficiency. As such, sometimes our employees are required to sacrifice their holidays or weekends, or even work overtime for the sake of meeting the pre-set construction schedule and the proprietor’s needs. All personnel, except managers (and those above) under the accountability system, are entitled to overtime pay.

3.I’ve heard that all the engineers at Te Chang are outstanding talents; will this prevent me from future promotion?

A standing performance review panel is responsible for deciding employee promotions in accordance with specified promotion regulations. Criteria include current performance, leadership performance, strategic analysis and decision-making capability. etc. Under this premise, each and every employee is entitled to enjoy equal opportunity of promotion. Other matters like adjustment upon completion of trial period, year-end reporting of personnel for promotion are all included in the business of performance review panel.

4.Do you provide dorms for out of town construction site personnel?

Dorms are provided to all non-resident co-workers, if an on-site office is established at large construction site. For construction sites without a dorm, other boarding facilities will be arranged for workers.

5.Will I be recruited if I don’t possess the related certificates or job experiences?

Every vacancy has its own specific set of requirements. Applicants are advised to select his/her favorite or the most interesting one. Since Te Chang provides various educational training for the newly graduated or those without any related certificates, you are welcome to join us on condition that you have passion, strong interest and a willingness to learn and to work hard.

6.Do I still have the opportunity of join Te Chang if I am not of the related majors?

Job experience and expertise are two of many reviewed requirements. Many applicants of non-related studies nevertheless have rich experience in related fields and/or have attended more training courses and posses more certificates than those in the related majors. Applicants of non-related majors, please state your job experience and give a detailed description of the certificates you have acquired in the resume. You have a very good chance of being invited for an interview.

7.Will I have many opportunities for overseas business trips after joining in Te Chang Construction?

It depends on whether the company has any overseas engineering contracts. Not everybody can go on such business trips unless of course they are a positioned overseas engineer or required for short overseas business trip.
